The upgrade of the only recreational facilities in Acheron was this project’s objectives. The recreation areas that were developed at the Acheron Mechanics Institute hall, included the installation of a safety fence around the sport courts, the erection of a viewing and storage shelter, the installation of a basketball ring and landscaping. The upgraded facilities are open to the community and help promote health, improve community connectedness and enhance wellbeing.
